Hi,
I just received my order for A2 desi ghee. have not used it yet, but wanted to know how is it possible that your company can afford to make this 1litre ghee available at 850 rupees. whereas other ghees are costly.
so is this really A2 cows ghee?
( Umesh Desai, 21/07/2022 )
This ghee is prepared from semi bilona process where the cream is fermented and then turned into ghee. Unlike the fully bilona process, this leaves milk as a residue. Fully bilona ghee leaves buttermilk as residue.
The fat content is slightly more in this ghee as compared to the ones which are prepared from curd or fully bilona process.
( Gaurashtra, 22/07/2022 )
submit ghee packing date pls
( geeta, 30/12/2021 )
Current manufacturing date is 2 Dec 2021. ( Gaurashtra, 31/12/2021 )
iF it is made using half cream and half curd method then why in the video it is said That curd is put into the collected milk fat ( cream ) ? because by cream method i assume that it is made only and only by cream and there is no transition to curd ?
( DAN, 24/08/2021 )
Namaste,
We will try to explain the process of making the ghee step by step.
- Milk Fat or Cream is separated from Indian cow milk.
- 30% milk is added to the fat.
- Curd is added and the solution is left for 2 days for fermentation.
- The solution becomes pure curd.
- This curd is churned with the help of low ampere churning machines.
- Buttermilk and makkhan thus obtained are separated.
- Butter is converted into ghee by heating it at the appropriate temperature.
- Ghee is packed in a hygienic environment.
Ghee can be made by three methods:
- By directly heating the cream.
- By converting whole milk into curd and then obtain the makkhan. Then, heating the makkhan.
- Or, by the method mentioned above.
The first method is cheap and easy but the shelf life of ghee is 3 months. Saturated fat content is more and most of the part goes undigested in the body.
The second method is the actual method of preparing ghee. It is time-consuming and low-yielding. The cost is high.
The third method is the intermediate method. It is better than the first method and somewhat inferior to the second method. It is good for health and cost effective.
We hope that we were able to answer your query.
( Gaurashtra, 24/08/2021 )
In the video about this product it is said and i quote here “ Milk fat ( cream ) is collected by pasteurisation and curd is set to this collected milk fat , churned to butter and then ghee “ Thats it and there is no mention of Cream method or Half cream half curd method as you said in the Q/A section. By cream method i assume That there is no Transition to curd it is only and only by cream that the ghee is made . if that is so then how can it be called “Vedic” please clarify Thanku

if this ghee is made using cream method than how can it be vedic ? A Vedic Ghee means either MiLk or even milk fat
( Cream ) collected and is set to curd churned to obtain butter and then ghee. In the video it is mentioned that curd is set to the collected milk fat ( Cream ) and here in the Q/A You are saying That It is made using half cream and half curd Please clarify about the process. thanku

The process you are referring to is when the ghee is made using curd. A2 ghee can be referred to any ghee made using cream or curd. The ghee you quering about if half prepared using cream while the other half is made of curd however it is made from A2 milk of Desi breed cows. This is why this ghee is little economic if compared to other ghee available in the market today. This is among the highest selling ghee we have on our website, you should try once to make your opinion about the quality of this ghee.
